About the Library: Laptop Borrowing Policy

Laptop Borrowing

Current members of the Felician University community (students, faculty, staff, and sisters) may borrow laptops from the Circulation Desk at the Lodi Campus Library. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and can be borrowed for up to six hours. Laptops must stay on the campus. One laptop per person may be checked out. Laptops, charges, and carry cases will be provided as a set. The borrower agrees to return all equipment in the same order and condition as when received.

  • While on loan, the borrower is fully responsible for all equipment that is borrowed.
  • Failure to return the equipment will result in a late fee and a hold on the borrower's account.
  • Loss, damage, or defect to any equipment must be reported to the Circulation Desk.
  • The University Library reserves the right to deny checkout privileges for any reason.

Loan Period

  • Laptops are available for up to 6-hour loans and are not renewable.
  • Laptops must be returned to the Circulation Desk on the day that it is borrowed.
  • Laptops do not circulate overnight and must be returned to the Circulation Desk at least 30 minutes prior to closing.
  • Laptops cannot be reserved for a specific time.
  • Borrowers are responsible for the laptop/equipment. If laptop/equipment are lost, stolen, or damaged, the borrower is responsible for the exact cost of replacement or repair.
