A self-guided tour to help you find and analyze data using SPSS. The goal is to provide basic learning tools for classes, research and/or professional development

What is SPSS?

SPSS is a data management and analysis software package, maintained by IBM. On the surface, it looks a lot like a spreadsheet and performs many of the same functions. SPSS can take data from almost any type of file and use them to generate tabulated reports, charts, and plots of distributions and trends, descriptive statistics, and complex statistical analysis.
