The Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing
The Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing is written collaboratively by the American Educational Research Association (AERA), the American Psychological Association (APA), and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME). It is considered the gold standard in guidance on testing in the United States and many other parts of the world.
A revision to the 2014 edition is currently underway.
As of 2/9/24, the Standards Management Committee have selected the co-chairs of the Joint Committee for revision of this 2014 edition.
